The Bank of the West was opened back in 1874 in California and had the name Farmers National Gold Bank. We had a license to issue the paper money supported with the gold reserve. Today, we have grown to a big multi-billion corporation with a wide range of clients and the reliable ability to protect all the investments. In 1880 our bank was the largest financial institute in San Jose.
